Increíble pero cierto, Sylvester Stallone se ha aliado con los hermanos Wladimir y Vitali Klitschko, campeones del mundo de boxeo, para producir un musical de Rocky en Alemania que se estrenaría en noviembre del año que viene, según ha anunciado el trío en Hamburgo, tal y como leemos en The Hollywood Reporter. El musical se centrará en la historia amorosa del boxeador y Adrian y contendrá varios de los grandes éxitos del filme, como el clásico Eye of the Tiger.

 

«Al final, Rocky es una historia de amor y él no podría haber llegado al final sin Adrian«, comenta Stallone. «Ver esta historia revivir en la escena musical me hace sentir orgulloso. Y también haría que Rocky se sintiera orgulloso«.

 

Los hermanos Klitschko, además de producir la obra (que cuenta con un presupuesto de 15 millones de dólares), entrenarán al actor protagonista para que se desenvuelva bien en el mundo del boxeo en el que se ambienta la historia. Stallone intentará, más adelante, llevar el musical por las escenas de todo el mundo.
